Family Coaching: Creating an emotionally safe home.
"Emotional safety shouldn't be a privilege, it should be a right."
How I work with families.
This work supports families who love one another but feel stuck in patterns of reactivity, shutdown, tension, or emotional exhaustion. Often, everyone is trying, but the system itself needs support.
Family coaching focuses on how the family functions as a whole: how emotions move through the system, how stress responses interact, and how connection can be restored after hard moments.
My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in nervous-system awareness. Rather than focusing on control or compliance, we look at what behavior is communicating within the family system — and what each nervous system needs in order to feel safer, steadier, and more connected.
I integrate relational psychology, grief education, nervous-system regulation, and breath-based practices to support meaningful, lasting change.
Principles that guide every session.
Helping families build a culture where emotions are understood, repair expected, connection recovered.
- Ongoing conflict, tension, or emotional distance
- Emotional reactivity, shutdown, or overwhelm
- Grief, loss, or trauma that has shifted family dynamics
- Anxiety, emotional sensitivity, or neurodiversity within the family
- Adolescence and young adulthood, when communication is fragile
- Families who feel stuck in cycles that never fully repair

Clarify the Structure
We determine whether it makes sense to begin with full family sessions or start by supporting one or two family members as an entry point into the work.
